I’ve read many a mythos collection and they’ve all been pretty bad. This one turns out not to be a stinker, but it is pretty bland. The stories are all relatively decent, though many of they are as Lovecraftian as… Conan the Barbarian. Anything is better than Derleth, I guess.

I’m usually not so into Korean manhwa but this strangely laid out story is a gem. In color with gradient fills and inking that reminds me of American super hero comics, the story flows in one direction, a really long linear panel. The art is polished and the story is hilarious.

Summary: girl goes to take care of an invalid in big swampy New Orleans house. Finds hoodoo room in attic and discover ghostly plot of not all that spookiness.
While this movie really isn’t very scary, it is pretty well done with a nice twist ending.
